Welcome to The Repairer of the Breach, a magazine dedicated to preserving and sharing the teachings of Bishop Calvin Davis Sr., founder of Pentecostal Way of Truth Church in Oakland, California.

Bishop Davis had a vision for the unadulterated Apostles’ Doctrine to be spread throughout the world. To fulfill this mission, he created The Repairer of the Breach magazine, a publication dedicated to sharing the true word of God and reaching those who were knocking, seeking, and asking.

 

Before he went to sleep in Christ in 1983, Bishop Davis appointed Bishop Leslie Edwards as the next pastor of Pentecostal Way of Truth Church. Determined to continue Bishop Davis’s legacy, Bishop Edwards was inspired to take his predecessor’s teachings and transcribe them, to revive The Repairer of the Breach magazine for a new generation all across the world.

 

Bishop Leslie Edwards faithfully carried on this work and vision until he, too, went to sleep in Christ in 2007. Today, the dedicated members of Pentecostal Way of Truth Church continue to honor and uphold the legacy of Bishop Calvin Davis Sr. through The Repairer of the Breach magazine, ensuring that his teachings and dedication to the Apostles’ Doctrine lives on.
